Sexual abuse survivors often have trauma issues that impact their relationships, sexuality and ways of relating sexually.

Survivors may develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, sexual addiction or avoidance, chemical dependency and alcoholism, dissociative disorders, borderline personality disorder, social discomfort and fear of people, and frequently have problems dealing with their anger.
